I am so very sorry for the loss of your most constant companions.
I have been there, time is the healer.
Hold close to your heart the great times and know that you have given the best life imaginable for Kosmo and Keesie.
What blessed lucky babes they were.
Most people have no idea of puppy farming and pet shops as those involved hide it away. They and the industry who supports it for profit don't wan't you to know or to be well informed as then you will make a moral choice based on facts and education and they will losse $$$.
I had no idea either Mitte and became involved in rescue once informed.
Welfare groups are taking on a multi billion dollar industry and we chip away at the huge block every moment of the day.
There have been many small yet significant wins for animals and this will increase.
The most important thing today is to remember to be well educated and adopt from a shelter, rescue group or breed specific rescue.
Take the time to meet animals and research. Insist on follow up support, guidence and care through the life of the animal.
You will be ok....and when you are ready you will be swept up with great love, compassion and joy with your next Bub.
