Newfie's are a good competitor as well...Well I have six months to decide so no hurry
Except, Newfie's are rather pricey.
Veto. Hubby will cough up the money, but I want that money for more productive things...Like a vacuum
Nah mate, I'm telling you, you gotta go ape at the company for that and get one really, really cheap.
*well, sounds good. I've done it, just not with a vacuum*
Oh believe me I'm going to go ape...If for no other reason, my little boy is still upset. Anyway, back on topic.
So far spaniels are in the lead folks!
I have had a couple of cocker spaniels.... fabulous dogs. Mine tended towards the neurotic scale a bit, had problems with seperation anxiety and jealousy. Mate had one turn a bit "snappy" as they have been known to do. Only other prob I recall was grass seeds in the ears and toes if you are on a farm or walk near long grass. Other than that, I just love them, so cuddly and soft...... arrrrrrrhhhh.....
I have a major soft spot for the Springer Spaniels and the Brittany Spaniel. Absolutely gorgeous dogs, and very soft tempered too providing you raise them that way!
So they are my vote
