It's the right thing to do Clea. It would get more & more stressful for both of you if you continued. And desexing is probably the right way to go for the sake of the line. We've got a Belgian Shep at club who's been rehomed with a club member. It's been debarked & got booted from the show ring because it bit a judge. The breeder insists that the current handler not desex because they want to breed. Not sure I'd want a pup from this boy. He's pretty full on, has a pretty "wired" personality & wants to hump anything within a 2 foot radius and that includes humans.
