I know there must be some other explanation but I like to think my dog loves me. What's that joke that is often emailed around? Lock your husband/wife and your dog in the car boot for a couple hours. When you go back to let them out who is going to be the happiest to see you?
Seeking love, sensing moods that most dogs do, mine included has nothing to do with the logic and reasoning that some owners attribute that their brains do and so they baby and ruin their dogs.
eg, every whimper is interpreted as what the owner thinks he or she would think, feel in a situation. Dogs do not think situations through, reach a conclusion and do their behaviours.
They thrive on instinct and conditioning to their situations.

Respect and you shall be respected. Animal is always right.
My nextdoor neighbour's little jack russell x got stuck into their easter eggs when they weren't home last year. She survived but was a very sick little dog for about a week or so before she started recovering.
Myth: Every brindle dog is related to the Pitbull which is considered a dangerous dog. Not a safe choice of dog especially for a family.
I am reading a book atm called "Dog Training for Dummies". I've only started so have lots to cover and learn, but so far I have read that the author believes a dog's behaviour is a reflection of your training. Does that include when a dog shows aggression? Is there really such thing as a rogue that just refuses to be trained, or a loyal family pet turning on their family for no reason.
