Now before I ask, I would appreciate that this thread does not become a blue SBT bashing bigade. If it does I will request it be deleted.
So where does the blue come from in SBT's, I have read a few things chiefly about the now extinct Blue Paul having been used in the formation of the Bull & terrier that became known as the SBT, and I have also read about 'true' blue dogs that are not really the result of colour dilution, they were solid pigment?
Does anyone know for sure or is it so far in the past that no one really knows where the colour comes from. From my understanding it would have had to come from a strain of bull & terrier due to the fact that the Brindle I think was the dominate colour at one time I have read.
I am no an expert, far from it, I hav'nt even owned one and i've only done light reading on them.
