How is this going to alter the fact that ANKC registrations and membership have declined?
The dog in shows - entire or neutered still need to be registered with the Governing body and the owner still have to be members of...lets say Dogs NSW.
Honestly...the neuter class as I see it...is a bit of fun at the Specialty shows and really do not serve any purpose. What are the main reasons for showing a dog...to gain points and see whether it is Championship material and eventually breeding material.
In my opinion...the Neuter class is superfluous in the show scene. What can you possibly use the "Neutered Championship" title for other than having it on your mantle piece!
Sure...you can have the best neutered dog/bitch...so what?
Do you think maybe, just maybe the reason for less registrations now than 1995 is because breeders have become more selective regarding what puppies they consider to be good show material as to pet material?!?
