Ash started obedience school today. He need to pass a test to be able to join the club which is in 6 weeks.
At home when I do training with him, he generally picks things up well and is focused.
One thing that he needs to work on is healing on the lead, without getting distracted by other dogs or people.
Well he was a little too excited this morning, meeting new friends and also because he just got desexed on Monday and still has his stitches in, so we have had a quiet week.
Our instructor pretty much dismissed him from the start. I was hoping to get some tips from her, and as I am new, to show me through the exercises. But she seemed to be wanting to get Ash done with so she could go to the more behaved puppies.
I know he just needs some work, that's why we were there, but I feel like going to another club with more friendly instructors..
What do other people think? Am I overreacting?
