I just cheat and photocopy the original documents, saves my fingers from all that typing
Will be handy for those who don't like to do that though.
I just print them out via Breedmate - PedX5, only have to enter the pups once with its numbers & new owners details, click on the sire & dams names & it fills it all in for you.
Then it is all saved on the computer (external drive for dog stuff) and I can't misplace anything .................. Yeah I'm a blonde lol
You have a choice of type & number of generations to print out.
They get the originals sent to them from canine when the pup is transfered, but do like to include a 9 generation "family tree" one in my puppy packs with all the vac & health certificates.
I pay for express processing of litter registrations so paperwork turns around in a matter of a couple of days so no puppy leaves here without it's Limit/Full Registration paperwork.
I also include a black & white photo copy of the parents papers together with a picture of each parent in the puppy package.
sorry, never heard of this being done!
Isnt that what the rego papers are for? Or is this more detailed?
I am doing Relay For Life in 2011, please contact me to make a donation
Terrorbull and MAC I would have to agree...
But maybe it's for people that want more generations shown than on an ANKC one.
I'm still going to look at it Natty.
I've been logging the dogs history thru a family tree programme that Apple has but the line breeding on one of my dogs is throwing it for a loop. You can include photos etc. So will look at the one that Cleas posted.
Yep, I can see that. I've done mine up to five + gen with photos for my breeding records and plans.
The photos make it really impressive - just quite large! I can actually see that being quite nice for new puppy owners, though I don't know how much info is overload.
My program is just a Word template, like a big table so you can stretch it to fit long names and photos in.
