That is a gorgeous video! They have done it so well to the music and the photo's are lovely.
Dorte.... thank you for sharing such a beautiful video... hope it changes some peoples nasty attitudes towards our beloved breed
gorgeous video, very well put together.
Wow Dorte, brings a tear to the eye watching all those beautiful SBTs. I still don't understand why so many people think that SBTs are a vicious dog!
Haven't met one yet that was dangerous, except they could lick and kiss and cuddle you to death!
Wish I could see this video, it sounds awesome (dial-up sucks!) and that even if ONE person can have their mind changed from watching it, it has done it's job.
In My Home Dog Minding
Any dog of the bull terrier family will be listed under this heading. I bet there are more dog attacks than the media finds out about but they seem to only tell of the attacks involving bull terriers, and they BOLD the name to make it look even better. But while there are many responsible owners out there, its the few irresponsible owners that cause the bad name these dogs have. And these irresponsible owners draw the attention to these dogs, giving the authorities another figure to add to their statistics. When I had my pet shop I had ppl come in asking if I sold the likes of pit bulls. If I did, those ppl would not have got one from me. To big note oneself for owning a dog with reputation for aggression and/or use the animal to intimidate others are the ones who shouldn't have them.
But in saying this, how many reports have you heard of pets turning on their owners - dogs that have never shown signs of aggression before? I'd really like to be a fly on the wall to see why this happens.
My family and friends are giving me mixed opinions about my fella I just adopted. Just because he is brindle, and not really knowing whats in him I've been told I have set myself up for trouble. If it happens I'll hear about it, "told ya so, told ya so." but so far Asher is proving to be a big sook. It will break my heart if he ever turned on anybody. But I am doing my damnest to make sure it don't happen. He can't get out my yard, he is never off lead outside the yard (will try him one day but only at the beach). Just those mongrel burglars will have me to contend with if they trespass on my property and get bailed up. I would fight to defend my dog in such situations.
