Just got off the phone from the newfoundland breeder. She tells me she has just got a call from a party in Hobart who need to find an immediate home for their 6 year old bitch, who has become a sheep killer.
Oh dearry me...
She is not de-sexed, but has never had a litter. Obviously owner was intending to BYB her? Well, that's my assumption. She does have papers however and is registered. How awful.
Anyway, I told my breeder that if she is stuck I will take the bitch. And I'm more than hppy to home her until a nice family comes along who don't have sheep.
Mind you, in hindsight, I'm wondering if I should have been more enthusiastic about taking her, as we have been tossing up the idea of getting a 2nd one once Inca has been de-sexed.
Do you think I should just leave it at that, or send through an e-mail stating how truly serious I am?
