Ok this is a long one...
Rocky has always had a sensitive stomach, so I'm always careful about what he eats and his treats etc. Anyway, he's normally fine for a week or so, and then he'll have one day where he just wont eat, he'll throw up, and he'll have diarrhea or a really soft stool (yeah, I know, yuck..sorry..). So took him to the vet and explained that this happens pretty regularly, he'll be all good, and then one day he'll be sick all day, and then he'll be fine again. So the vet put him on a prescription diet, and he's been fine until today!
He just slept all day, and when we had dinner we usually have to tell him to stay away from the table etc, but he came up, had a look, and just went and lay down again. Took him for a little walk to get some air, and he was really well behaved, not pulling at all (unusual for him) and then he stopped to do poo (great, love it when he does that on his walks NOT) and it was diarrhea.. even better.... anyway, got him home, and he had a little drink, not much, but still didnt want to eat anything, then went and layed back down.
Im just worried because it happens alot! Today is the worst he has been though, he's never just wanted to lay around all day, and hes never had diarrhea that bad. Im taking him to the vet on friday to get stitches out (from being desexed) so I'll tell them again, but I just have no idea what it could be?
As far as I know, he hasnt eaten anything that he shouldnt have. The only thing I can think of is that at training yesterday I gave him some roast turkey as treats, but he didnt have all that much!? and he was fine last night and hadnt thrown up during the night. He did throw up a couple times at around 3ish, but it was just (ive forgotten what the vet called it) - there was nothing in it, it was just kinda... foamy? and only a little bit
Ok, REALLY sorry for the lenght of this post, and REALLY sorry if it doesnt make sense, just wanted to add eveything in, I dont think ive forgotten anything... So what could it be? or what should I ask the vet to look at?
