Since bringing Asher home we notice he farts and burps all day long. His breath smells as bad as the other end.
Can this be because I have changed his diet? Is it something I am feeding him, causing it. First day home he got fresh diced chicken (from pet section in supermarket meat unit) mixed with a few woof-bix. Day 2 for breaky gave him some milk and a piece of toast with peanut butter, and for dinner he got Highland brand pet mince - the mix of roo, beef and lamb, mixed with woofbix and tuna. This morning for breaky he had more milk, I offered him chicken wings but he doesn't seem to want to try them.
Can you suggest that anything I have fed him could be making him reek Kempsey is still in dark ages of shops only being open half day Saturday and closed Sundays so I'd bought a couple of different meats to try him before buying anything in bulk. But tomorrow will go to chicken shop and get some chicken mince, see if that might fix him. He doesn't like the woofbix - won't eat them unless he has too when its mixed through his meat. My rats are taking care of that so will go find another bikkie that he might like.
When I picked him up I didn't even think to ask his carer what she had been feeding him. I have left a message to find out but if it was something she fed him he would have stunk the car out but he didn't. Only started after his first meal with me
