Since Mully has gone I have been having some issues with Bailey and Tyson.
Its kind of a toss up to be honest. They seem to be a lot happier because they don't need to worry about being attacked now, I'm not going to lie and tell you all that her attacking Tyson or Bailey was the first incident - it wasn't, but it was the only time I have seen her do it for NO reason, NOT stop when told to and NOT stop when other dog submitted.
Anyway they seem to be happier in that respect but Bailey is still so young and playful whereas Tyson just wants to sleep most of the time. So he tends to be snapping at her a lot when she tries to play with him.
They seem to now be working out their "pecking order" so to speak and that's ok they just sort of snap and snarl but don't actually make contact, and someone always backs down.
They have been snapping at each other mostly when either Bailey tries to play with him or when me and OH are showing them affection- we give them equal affection for eg. both petted at the same time, fed same time, share the same bed etc.
Bailey is also being as arrogant as ever; simple commands she refuses to follow such as sit, stay, wait etc. Seem to be getting over this though as I am VERY persistent (she doesn't get what she wants until I get what I want)
Im just wondering if anyone has any advice about how to stop this? The arrogance I can handle (with Bailey) but the dominance between them both is a bit harder.
Also do you think they are both just grieving in their own ways?
Cheers in advance x
