Occy - are you sure this isn't a recipe for food poisoning?
If you keep it warm - you need to keep it hotter than 60'C. Otherwise need to cool it right down to <4'C and then heat it up. 2 hours of luke warm is enough to be poisonous. Theoretically.
Rice is apparently one of the worst things for food poisoning but I found when I was travelling it was one of the only safe things - go figure.
