Pls move to the appropriate forum section if its not placed right..
I'll give you the short run down of the situation..
My mother wanted a dog, we wanted a dog... so we got two.
I live in Syd and mum Newcastle, Instead of breaking the two pups up decided I would come to mums and stay for a while and do the basic training (toilet sit no leash etc) together.
I am confident in my training (but still know when too ask for help! )
and thus far the pups have been pretty good still some accidents inside though but I digress.
My main issue is my mother and younger bro(16) aren't listening to my advice or really even trying it with any effort.
I keep repeating myself constantly I told them before deciding on these pups they have to put in alot of effort and can't slack off.
How can I stress to them the importance of consistancy without getting to the point I want to slap-chop them?
I could take my pup and go back home to Syd and not worry but I don't think its fair on the one who will be left behind, Plus I would feel irresponsible.
Maybe I should just take the 2 pups back to my home and tell them to get a smaller dog?
