Hubby and I are originally from Tassie and both our families are still there. Next time we go back for a visit, we want to take the dogs with us (hey, we have to show them off right?). But I've never taken dogs on a plane before, and I'm not really sure how it works. I know they have to be crated, so I'm guessing I need to get them used to being a crate first?
I have no idea when we're going back next, but I would like to know well in advance what has to happen! Also, there's another reason I need to know what I have to do regarding flying. I have a great grandmother who is only a couple of years away from being the grand age of 100. Recent conversations with my mum lead me to think I may be getting an emergency "come home asap" call sometime in the next few months (but god I hope not) and I need to have a "dog plan" worked out, as to whether I'll need a baby sitter or if they can come with.
Sorry for the long winded post but I try to get it all out there to start with!
