I'm after some advice from some of the rescue people out there. I have fallen in love with a painfully thin rescue dog who is currently in a foster home in Sydney, putting on some weight and generally recovering to a point where she will be able to be de-sexed and then re-homed. I have contacted the rescue lady and she says she has re-homed interstate before without any problems and she will keep me in mind when the dog is ready to go.
Now I really want what is best for this poor girl and the more I think about it the more I worry about putting her through the extra stress of a flight up to QLD. I do not want to be selfish and if it is better for her to be re-homed locally I would be very happy (well not happy but YKWIM) to take a step backwards.
What are peoples thoughts?
