Sally is an 8-week-old Golden Retriever. We brought her home 4 days ago, and I've been giving her the same food as she had at the breeders, but she doesn't seem that interested. She'll nibble on a little bit, maybe coming back a couple of times to nibble a bit more. She will also eat a small amount of dried food. The only thing she's really enthusiastic about is when I give her puppy milk, which I've been limiting to one small bowl a day in the hope that she'll eat her other food. She's been pooing OK, drinking plenty of water, and is happy and alert.
I'm not sure if I should be concerned, as I was expecting a growing puppy of this breed to have a bigger appetite?? Sorry if I seem clueless, but I'm a novice at having a dog.
