I was at school in the 70's GSD's4 EVER, but my sister who is 11 years my senior was out there having a ball. Like you, long blonde hair no fringe, she was a stunner!
When she moved out of home I remember being mortified that she ate mung beans lol. I grew up listening to Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, Supertramp etc. I still play them all....really loud lol
I also remenber..."If it's rocking, don't bother knocking"!! And "Hey Charger"!! And who could forget Animal House and the Blues Bros??? I named 2 pei I picked up from WA recently Jake and Elwood, when I took them to the vet the vet nurse looked at me and said..."where did you get that dreadful name Elwood from"?? She is obviously an 80's babe. lol I ensured that my 80's kids were well versed on important recent history like Monty Python and all the music I have mentioned. Often when I pull up at my son's home (they share a house) I will hear Crosby Stills & Nash or Neil Young coming from inside. On Xmas day we had Chicago playing and one son commented at one song that his bro plays that one all the time.
I think the young adults of today have so much more to content with, it's a shame they don't enjoy enough of what the 70's gave us. I was so fortunate to "watch" from "once removed", it was no doubt a wonderful era.
