I didn't "do" mung beans SPRV ... I'm not that "Hippie Vego".
My music taste was exactly like yours with a lot of Woodstock artists thrown in. Big on Joe Cocker, Patti Smith, Beatles (naturally), Carly Simon, James Taylor, Joan Biaz, Joannie Mitchell, Arlo Guthrie etc, etc. Big fan of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and huge fan of Neil Young as well. Watching "Forrest Gump" was a wonderful trip down memory lane for me. A lot of what happened to me (except the drug taking) was reflected in the character portrayed by Robyn Wright. Google "The Amazing Rythym Aces". Love their work !!
Not an Animal House fan, but loved The Blues Brothers. Gone with the Wind is one of my favs as well as movies from the Golden Era (30's to 50's). The women were glamorous & often independent thinkers (Katherine Hepburn), the men were dashing, with matinee idol looks (mostly g*y as it turns out).
One "irite" for me about Gen Y is their lack of manners when it comes to responding to emails, texts, messages (they don't unless they want something) & a fairly hedonistic attitude.
