So I am in the small town of Nangus, NSW. Population 150. 15 children in the local primary school. Every person there is a sheep/cow farmer, farmers wife or farmers child.
Me, Roles and Lady are spending time with my grandfathers on his sheep farm.
Yesterday, we go next door(1kilometre away) to visit the neighbours.
These are the roughest people I have ever met.
3 Kelpies. 2 bitches, one intact male.
Long story short, slit 9 puppies throats at 2 days old cause he knew he wouldn't find homes for them.
Where do I begin with whats wrong with that....
The 2 bitches arn't needed, so are never off the chain. 36 degrees, neither have water. I took the liberty to fill them up myself. Finishes it off, so I refilled. The male in still on the ute after being worked with sheep. Hips and spine clearly visable.
The sad thing is, this isn't uncommon on most farming properties.
My grandfather though, one of his are currently on a diet, he moves them into a shed when its too hot, and he gets angry at me if he doesn't think my dogs have enough water
