Grrrr I hate hate hate those shops. I cross the other side of the walkway when I am at the shops as I get so angry. They don't give a toss about what the crosses are, as long as they are cute and can sell them. They tell people what they want to hear, not what they SHOULD be told.
I pray for the day when puppies and kittens can no longer be victims of impulse buying, and never have to see them in shop front windows.
Yesterday, saw ‘Jugs’ at Pets Paradise, looking like Pugs.
What are they meant to be ?
jugs- jack russel x pugs..
On my way home from Wollongong the other day i saw a sign on the highway pointing into a nursery saying "CHEAP PUPPIES, KITTENS BUDGIES --> "
I refuse to go anywhere near a Pets Paradise store. I don't agree with them on any level. I will not even buy so much as a collar from them.

Well I'd say that those breeds were the only ones they could get their hands on at the time. Desperate ppl.
Same goes for the Rag Doll kittens. Mongrel breeder!
yeah i went pass on last friday wen i was in perth. they has rag doll kittens too. Heaps of puppy too. their were huskies in there too. which i was really suprised about.
I personally think this whole pet shop debate that we have discussed before is a double-edged sword.
Sure, fair enough, it may help reduce numbers to boycott pet shops that sell dogs and kittens, but I don't think that's going to make a lot of difference without targeting the different reasons they are there in pet shops to start with.
Target the problem areas together, and a change may happen.
Don't pet shops often also sell rats, mice, rabbits, birds and guinea pigs? Do all ppl who hate the thought of pet shops selling puppies and kittens also feel the same way about other animals?
