Thanks for the response Mitte. I find these autoimmune diseases quite interesting atm, as hubby was diagnosed with Wegeners Granulomatosis late last year, which means his immune system attacks his blood cells... or, er, something like that. (TBH I don't really know what it is). I had no idea they could lower your immune system like that - wow! Hubby's option if the WG gets really bad is huge doses of the drugs they give transplant patients.
Is there much known about your problem?
Bucketting down with rain here, and I have to go into Sydney to pick up a boarder. Great, the roads will be horrendous! Hoping we don't get storms while I'm out, was bad enough last night with lots of sooking dogs.
Jeez Grey's, I get really freaked drving in heavy rain. Have a safe trip please.
C&B, I have an auto-immune issue but it is VERY minor compared to what both your husband and Mitte are dealing with. mine is alopecea arearta, where the auto-immune system attacks your own body and results in your frigging hair falling out and leaving bald patches everywhere.
It's in check now, has come back again a few times, so have had to try and change how I deal with stressful situations. I so hope all goes well for your husband.
Back safe and sound DA! The rain was better than expected, only problems was taking an unexpected detour around Kings Cross because of road works!
....and NO, I didn't get any takers!
Glad you arrived safely Greys.
Woohoo, 5th chemo down, only one to go. I am getting so used to lunch out every second Tuesday, wotamigoona do then? lol
