It's Dogue de bordeaux
But your forgiven Floyd because you didn't say Hootch dog
An SBT. My brother hooked his up to a giant esky full of beer and ice, and she towed it around the soccer oval. Did slow her down slightly, but didn't stop her. Add wheels and it would be like she was full speed again.
A Golden Retriever.
A bottlenose dolphin.
A cocker spaniel - then again that one would probaby nick off down the river and leave the kid to drown.
The obama dog. Portuguese water dog, It would need to be a small cart.
A curly coat or flat coat retriever. I don't know a lot about the flat coat, but the curly coats will retreive all day and they don't nick off. Well the ones at my local oval don't. And they don't chase the bicycles either. Not like the cocker spaniels and some of the kelpies.
Google gives me something called a "landseer" but I know nothing about those.

PMSL @ Hyacinth.
A botlenose dolphin? Hmmm, will think about it. Quite a few around here. Lol.
Landseer is the black/white Newfoundland, Hyacinth!!! Sounding good to me.
There's also the chesapeake bay retriever.
Some of them do look like labradors though.
PS when you get your dog - you can call it "flipper"...
PPS or "Madison" (after Darryl Hannah's mermaid in Splash)
Flipper? Good Lord, I don't want to give him/her a complex.
I was thinking more along the lines of Braveheart or something like that.
Can't think of a name for a bitch right now. I'm cringing at the kid's suggestions. Lol.
Imagine that, don't have a dog and not sure when it'll happen, but we're already thinking of names! Pathetic really...*sigh*
Yeah im not sure you want a dog. more a marine animal!!! try seaworld :P
I agree with the GSD, chloe's a cross, so wouldn't be able to pull anything to large (not that i've tried) but she has endless energy when playing ball with my daughter, only walks with me for 45 mins - 1 hr before refusing to go any further.
and she barks when someone comes at the door, then rolls over for belly rubs (great guard dog haahh)]
*shrugs* sorry! but i think you really are explaining one also!
Di whispers....so do I (GSD)
Oh God, are you all serious???
Am I really describing the GSD? Yeah, I guess I am - or at least I'm describing the GSD's character as I've always known it, prior to this very unpleasant episode with Zed.
You people (and this thread) is/are helping me to realise that it has really thrown me, and made me forget every beautiful thing I've ever experienced with them as a breed.
Hmmm, what to do? *insert confusion*
