Hey fellow dog lovers.
I don't have anything particularly fascinating to say, other than I am the proud owner of Terry, an eight year old jack russel foxie x, he is quite a porker (guilty of feeding him bread ) and most people think he is still a puppy as his nature is so very sweet. Terry lives outside because he has proven himself un-toilet trainable, and we can't afford to send him to obedience lessons. But he is quite happy out there! I give him my old clothes to snuggle into, and when he cries I spray some of my perfume on his blankies so he can pretend I'm with him when I sleep over at a mates house.
We are getting a new puppy, an inside dog! At this point we're looking at a small breed, a chi, a pom, perhaps a Maltese etc. I'm not really sure what I'm getting as mum is keeping my Christmas puppy a secret, but I know she's had her eye on some of the local shelters.
I'm a year 11 student, I plan to become a neurologist. In my spare time I read to elderly where my Nanna lived (R.I.P) and I'm a big movie/book/history/science nerd, drives my man and my girlfriends crazy! I have quite a lot of piercings and I'm getting my first tattoo soon. I'm not a hoodlum I swear, just have diverse tastes. . I love to read and learn, which brings me on to my next point.
I would LOVE any information anyone would like to give me about getting a new dog, how to introduce the new baby to Terry, toilet training etc. I have borrowed many books from the library and visited many websites but my personal preference is for first hand knowledge. This is a family member, I want to make sure I'm not just a good mummy, but a great one!
I'm apologetic if my introduction was incorrect...I wasn't quite sure what to write here. I have been lurking for a fair while but I hope to become a regular.
