I've re-posted this as I think I screwed up the first time, sorry
I may be the person Deerhound is referring to, I have done everything I can with my girl, the Colchine and the Metam every day to no avail. She is still very lame, but I have got her to keep eating, (if i sit on the floor with her most of the time & feed her roast chicken), her blood test came back with no kidney damage which is a blessing, but she does have protein deposits in the joints which explains the lamesness. The vet I have in Shepparton is pretty switched on with the breed, another blessing as there arent many around, and my local vets are just useless. They have their arms up cows bums most of the time & I dont think they had even seen a shar-pei before I took Geisha in. Any more suggestions as to what I can do to help my poor girl would be greatfully received. I have been on a few forums but prefer to stick to an Aussie one. I have received a reply to the e.mail I sent to Dr. Vidt, so I have done lots of research. Maybe something I have missed???
