I posted a reply the other day but thought I'd best introduce myself.
I've been involved in the dog world for over 20 years now, showing and trialling.
After some 15 years in Aust. Kelpies I thought if I was to become a trainer I should own a different breed to see how the other half live.
So into my life came Gemma; Gordon Setter, what a challenge. Not exactly the breed for me, but love her all the same.
But my new love is Whippets, what a delightful, easy going, clean, bundle of fun these guys are, of which I have two, a bitch nearly 2yo and a dog 1yo and soon I'll be adding another.
I am a volunteer instructor at my local club, Cert III holder and have worked in boarding & training kennels up until recently when I decided to go out on my own.
