this might have gone well in the puppy forum area.. cept this new dog (a rescue, so we don't really know all that much about her) of ours is supposedly around 2 years old according to the vet. or is this still on the verge of puppyhood? or is this dog actually younger.... please no, as she is large enough already! we do not need her growing any more! lol... as it is now, she is learning what 'back up' means..
what can i do to help her through the night boredom, when we totally inconsiderate humans sleep like logs instead of entertaining this poor dog?
the first night was ok, nothing untoward come morning. the second night had just one of my husband's thongs brought in from the laundry to her bed area, not chewed on thankfully. this morning tho, after her third night here, we woke up to what remained of three toilet rolls strewn around our bedroom. i do realise of course, that is my fault entirely for leaving those spare toilet rolls in a basket on the toilet floor, and from now on, they will live on the window sill.. but i look around and wonder what might be next!
yes, i am a new dog person. but she does have a large rope toy inside, and a dental dumbell too.. altho she looks like she has never had toys of her own before..
