I went to see the specialist with Jenna yesterday. He is Richard Mitchell who, after much internet research, has a fantastic reputation and people seem to travel far and wide to see him so I am very grateful he is just down the road from us. He observed Jenna walking and did various hip manipulations. He cannot detect anything wrong with her hips at the moment but it's still early days. She is going to have the PenHipp xrays on Tuesday morning and depending on the results of those he will give me a call but proceed and do the Juvenile Pubic Syphysiodesis if it is indicated while she is still under the anaesthetic. He will also de-sex her at the same time. At 4 months this is earlier than planned but I am told this is not a problem. At least it means only one surgery and one recovery period.
Will let you know how she is Tuesday
