Butthe fact is many, many people do have them and still need a forum where they are not going stripped, quartered and hung for saying so.
And no matterthe reason for dogs needing to be rehomed, they have to be advertised somewhere , so why not here? It also gives a chance to perhaps even rectify a problem that is defining the the dogs need to go.
Hope you areenjoying your holiday by thway, lucky bugger
The over load of pound dogs is certianly not going to improve if we dont even try to gently educate.
It's a bluddy good chance that they dont and so as luck would have it they come here where we have a chance to educate.
I certainly don't want a name change.
All dogs of all breeds should be treated exactly the same, once they are actualy born there is little someone can do now is there?
So again,we have the chance to help and educate
This forum is for Cross Breeds as well as Pure breeds.
GageDesign Pet PhotographySite still in construction so will post link when it's finished.
For example when the English Parson John (Jack) Russell set out to create the ultimate sporting terrier he probably culled more than 70% of the dogs he bred. Only the healthiest and best workers were allowed to live.
We now live in gentler times. Science has given us the option of testing for many inherited defects and dogs unsuitable for breeding are no longer culled but desexed and sold as pets. Of course not all breeders are responsible. Many, particularly those who deal in designer crossbreeds, do no health testing at all. They breed simply to supply a market for cutesy puppies.
I'm not in favour of culling in this day and age but it was certainly a means of producing sound, healthy dogs capable of doing the job they were bred for.
Hope this answers your question.
awww, they are not ugly...quite cute actually
