I must say mine is the Beagle x Lab and my two Shar peis.
All three are snuggle bugs
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are my favourite breed of dog and I have two females and would love a red or red/white pied male one day. I also have a male greyhound who is a foster failure. I never pictured myself owning a greyhound until we decided to foster him on the spur of the moment.
He's definately part of the family now though after knowing him for a year!

and this one...
Hi Fedra, what is that big bundle of fur? He is one good looking dog! The rottie looks very proud.
I was very privelidged to own a female for 14 years (overseas) and they are just fantastic. Not for beginners, or first time dog owner though. They are very strong headed, intelligent and have the mind of their own, can be quite sharp, you can't treat them as "just a dog", you need to have a very special approach and then they are the best dog you can ever have - extremely loyal, faithful, protective in need, fantastic with kids. Also, they need a lot of open space, although they are far from hyperactive. They more seem like a big lazy dog, but they're not, especially if you put in some effort and time for them. They must not be boxed or chained or even confined just in a back yard for long time or as a permanent option - it's equal to prison for them, and can become either way lethargic or aggressive if not provided with what they need.
This was my old girl Fedra with my niece
I have a rottie (proud girl , and a little pekineese mix now.

Thanks Fedra! I now learn something new everyday! They sound like a lot of work but I bet they are really worth it. That is one beautiful dog, it is good when they are great with children, that is a really good shot with your neice.
