Long time no post for me! I hope you and your animals have all been well
Wondering if any body here has dealt with incontinence at all
Gracie turned two last month, she was spayed as a pup and is very well toilet trained
She will literally sit and knock on the door if she wants to go out...
So last night after a big afternoon at the beach and some training, she was laying between my wife and I on the bed, as she always does at that time of night. She had been licking 'herself' a fair bit through the evening but she tends to go through periods of that every now and again so I didn't think anything of it, it still may not even be related... anyway I'm sure she was either asleep or just about to drift off to sleep when I felt this warm puddle growing beneath me. Sure enough - she had wet the bed (and the doona and some pillows and through to the mattress...)
She was deeply embarrassed, got up ears pinned right back against her head looking at the both of us wondering what had happened. And for a short while after everywhere she sat or laid down she would leave a small wet patch before going back to licking herself.
Apparently this happened last week as well but I wasn't away and didn't witness it.
I've done the dreaded Dr. Google research - just wondering if any of you have seen this before?
Of course my first thoughts were HER KIDNEYS ARE FAILING GET HER TO A VET
