Also another habit Baileys has is that he sucks on a pillow before he goes to bed and his paws press on it as if he is suckling from his mothers teat. Mind you he is 6 years old...not a puppy anymore.
Comrade loves water and will chase it if I spray the hose along the ground, he also dunks his head in the wading pool when playing with the kids... real head down bum up style. Its hilarious! lol
I have my 2 youngest at home during the day still and I work nightshift...so sometimes I'll lay down on the lounge for a rest. The otherday the kids were being too quiet, I went outside to find miss 4 and master 2 outside, hose on, all wet and playing in the mud....then Candy comes bolting up to me...soaking wet and muddy too arghhhh!! Three toddlers to clean up
When I ask Nikki my 10yr old Beagle, where COCO is (our cat) she goes running round the house trying to look for the cat. And she visits every room. This is really amusing. "although" i am sure it isn't for her.
I swear if stupidity was painful my dog would be in agony! A couple of weekends ago hubby started to enclose the back verandah so the dogs could be kept in out of the rain. At present he has two support poles up holding a gate. (dogs are big and like to push against the gates here so the gate has to be independant to rest of building). That's ALL that is there. A GATE! The rest is still open to the yard as usual. The dopey dog has been lying on the verandah behind the gate for nearly two weeks, crying for someone with a bigger brain than herself to open the gate so she can get out to the yard!! I have to go outside every couple of hours and open it for her. I tried leaving it open and it caused her to bark constantly because she thought the other dogs cold get into her new special place. Go figure!
Instead of being a normal dog walking circles twice before he goes to bed,
he feels he has to dog half way to China before he can settle.
It is utterly bizzare!
And if you touch his bed, he has to dig and make his groove again, silly puppy dog
"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole."
My german Shep X loves his kong. sometimes he loses it down the back of "his" couch, or under our bed... he runs around wailing till we get it for him...
he's 11 and supposed to be more dignified than that.
my Malamute thinks that My girlfriend and i must be cold when we cuddle, so she burrows under the blankets at the foot of our bed, and ends up on her back, head on the pillow, blanket pulled up to her armpits between us somehow.
my old Mal used to steal the quilt from my brother whenever he stayed over. she'd climb under, get to the middle, stand up, then walk outside with it over her... only ever did it to him despite several other guests, and the fact the bed was always made up with the same quilt.
Lol how adorable!
