Looks like Loki has gone through his first shedding - freaking insane amount of hair! I could brush him and vacuum every day, and the next day the floor would be covered in hair again, and he'd have this layer of loose hair on him. It's a bit of a task but I don't really mind
But one thing that kinda shocked me is how skinny he actually is without that undercoat. He's 13 months now, so I think he still has a lot of filling out to do. I don't have a set of scales so I'm not entirely sure on weight, but he's 60cm tall, basically at the top of the standard, so I don't expect much more vertical growth. He doesn't eat much, but because of the heat exercise has been a bit limited for a while, so I don't think it's a case of overworked/underfed. I put out dry food for him he can have at any time, then give him some other food for dinner (say mince, chicken, those dog sausage loaf things etc). I used to put the "wet" food out for breakfast too but he was just wasting most of it.
I guess I'm asking whether I should be worried about this, or whether he's just a bit lean until his next growth spurt (which I think is usually 15-20 months?). He'd just been in the pool so he's a bit wet in the pic
