I am very intrigued by what occurs in these winter walks. We leave the house around 5.30am in winter this means pitch black.
Its all off leash in winter for us at the moment. So the dogs have a free walk. I do my walk, at my pace, the keep up (ish)
We seem to leave and return at the same time. But my dogs are independant of me more, in the dark. they seem to be different dogs slightly.
Firstly, they seem a lot smarter, as they can see. I have a 6" beam of torch light. So seeing them, is impossible, but i can hear them.
Im learning to identify what dog is what, by their sounds. Its awesome!
When you tune in to the noise your dogs make, through various gaits, speeds, terrains etc.
anyone else ever noticed this stuff when walking dogs in the dark?
