    Default Chewing paws

Why do pups do that, our Bella loves to lick her paws and mouth her paws?

Simple answer is - because they can !

Puppies use their mouth to work out what is what in their world. That is why we are forever taking stones, sticks, electrical cords and other such fascinating things out of pups mouths - continuously !

It is also part of their grooming of themselves, it feels good and it can be a stress release for her.

The time to worry is if the licking is continuous and it causes the skin on her feet to become red. That is the time to be concerned about allergies and secondary infections.
