We sometimes have SWF dogs come over to stay for a bit, which is fine because Koda is only reactive towards same size or bigger dogs. There is one little dog in particular who comes over regularly, and Koda gets on great with her. I've mentioned her before in my 'Kodas progress' thread. They don't really play, but they get on really well, If he's pushing her too much she will give him a warning growl and he will back of straight away and leave her alone, which is awesome.
However i've noticed a weird behaviour. Koda is pretty territorial of our backyard, so if there is any unusual sound he will go crazy barking at it. If Dodge barks at something, Koda instantly becomes extremely alert, starts pacing and huffing and puffing. However if this little dog barks at something, Koda's whole demeanour changes from a confident territorial dog (which is what i would expect) to shy and nervous. He will lower his head and slink away to sit by the back door with a very worried look on his face. If i open the door he will push his way past me to get into the house which he usually doesn't do that so eagerly.
I've seen him do this neumerous times now, so its not a once off... its a bit weird haha. He seems fine otherwise
They're so cute hanging out together
Such a sook, sulking at the door while she barks!
