I have been doing some research on raw feeding and I'm keen to make my own BARF Patties. The recipe i found was:
4 eggs (include shells, but crush them)
1 small container of low fat natural yogurt
2 tablespoons of flax seed oil
1 Vets All Natural Complete Mix (mix according to packet instructions)
1 kg of mixed fruit and veggies (root veggies, fruit, green veggies) - Grated or blended
1 kg full fat beef mince
1 large piece of liver or a few kidneys
Do you think there is anything else which could be added to the recipe or if there is anything i have left out?
What you can then do is make patty servings based on your puppys weight, but take into consideration their other meals.
For example, if on a raw diet, your puppy needs 200g of raw food and he is already getting 100g elsewhere (through chicken wings etc), then you could make up 100g patties to supplement the the rest of his daily intake (well thats what i think would be the case?)
What your thoughts?
