Jasper is home!
But - I've mothered him - Let him in the house, let him walk around the house dragging his leash, and given in to his crying and howling when I put him outside... He is currently lying at my feet, and it's only taken him about 2 hours to stop crying and fall asleep. He hadn't stopped crying since he got here - Mum suggested it's because he was distressed after his day had consisted of being dropped off at the vets, knocked out and have his testes removed, then to wake up feeling like crap in an unfamiliar place, and then to be taken home by an unfamiliar person to an unfamiliar house. I'd like to have set down the rules straight away and ignored the crying and howling, but... I couldn't Maybe tomorrow I can instil all the pack rules? :/
Fingers crossed all goes well! Tomorrow he'll meet the resident Staffy and get access to the yard. I won't be here, I'll be at work, but my landlords will be here and are ready to settle him in
