There I was with my five year olds in the classroom and there is a noise at the door and a large tan dog is looking in from the oval side.
Dogs and schools don't do well and we aren't far from a major road.My class was due for outside play so they went one way and I popped out to snaffle this gorgeous dog who wanted to play. She was a good 50kgs, well fed, VERY friendly and lactating so puppies somewhere. NO COLLAR.
My only choice was to tie her up and ring the ranger in the hope the owner would call the council and claim her. It was so unnecessary if only she had her collar on with ID tag and mobile number to call.
