I just have to look around my own family to see that kind of diversity. Tho we do have a high number of scientists..."dogs for sport, some for security and others just for pets"
any litter i have been involved with the primary goal is max uniformity, diversity means i planned it wrong?
everyone has different goals.
ETA, i am talking about dog litters not human ones...just clarifying based on your family mention above.
I think this depends on the breed.max uniformity, diversity means i planned it wrong
It may just reflect the breeder's priorities when choosing homes. I think with Cavalier King Charles spaniels - you'd want them all to be pretty much the same. But you'd have priorities - ie is being laid back and calm more important than how active the dog is. So is an active dog ok as long as it's calm and laid back... Or do we want 100% couch potato lap dogs.
