Just brilliant. Loved it.
pretty sure I've seen most of these before on sbs or the abc - can't remember which. There was one episode I watched which featured African dogs and a bunch of bumf about packs that might apply to African dogs but not our pet dogs. And I thought African dogs were the ones where strictly a female in charge and that episode got that wrong too.
But some of the show is very cute with some very entertaining stories. Loved the rescue dog one.
Maybe this is a second series?
This was from the previous series "a man and his dogs" maybe?

I'm pretty sure this was the new series Hya...they followed a guide dog pup growing up till he was fully trained. That alone was amazing. But the bits about dogs tounges and noses was kinda mindblowing. They reckon a dog can tell what happened months ago just by smell.
And the bit why dogs are such messy drinkers...super slow mo shot of the tounge working......well the mised out because Mojo would have been the best dog to film doing that. 5% goes in the gob, 50% on the floor and the other 45% drips of his mug for the next few minutes lol !!!
Rehab dogs, wolves, rescue, guide, puppies...it had them all. Stoked i taped it. I'm going to make my mother in law watch it and if she still cant appreciate dogs after that then i'll give up trying to convert her.
yeah I thought I'd seen them all too but I hadn't seen this one, figured it must have been new. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the stuff about how they communicate with us - their different barks, their ability to recognise and empathise with human emotion (looking to the left eye)....The slow-mo drinking thing was very cool too
