Please help a dumb bloke who's going shopping for Satin ball ingredients.
I need to buy wheat germ, Unsulfured Molasses, and gelatin.
I can find gelatine but the recipe calls for 10 envelopes ?? Whats a envelope of gelatine...cant say i've ever open a packet of the stuff ??
Can i get all this stuff from a supermarket ?? I thought Molasses was somthing horses ate, or licked or did somthing with. I remember pouring it in holes we dug as kids hoping our friends would step in it but it was bought in bulk containers for my friends farm many moons ago. Rural supplies store maybe ? We have them locally.
I'm thinking of using lamb mince if i can find it...guess a butchers the way to go there but might be slack and use beef mince instead. I saw a old thread where Newfie said she used lambs mince due to a higher fat content.
Just on limited time tomorrow arvo after work and dont want to be chasing my tail all afternoon searching high and low for stuff.
