One of my guys has just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both front legs and was given his 1st shot of Cartrophen last tuesday and is due to have another tomorrow. He was also given a 5 day course of anti inflammatory tabs which he finished Saturday.
Yes he has shown noticeable signs of improvement already, but that could also be attributed to the fact that we have kept him confined as possible for the last week with no walks or loopies in the back yard with his partners in crime.
But he has been very sickie, vomiting or dry retching on occasions and eating a backyard of grass!
Of course I immediately went into over drive when I read a lot of bad reactions and "worse" that can and will happen from people I don't know on the net and I don't know of anyone 1st hand that has had to go down this track and have been lucky that we haven"t had to either before.
So if you have used the injections would you mind letting me know of your views, thoughts and experiences please.
Yes, I know I also don't know the people here either as such, but I feel more confident reading from a forum I have been perusing for many years than from the 1st couple of pages that pop up on google.
