I have 2 maltese poodle puppies, about 4 months old. They are generally pretty well behaved, although when they get really playful and wrestle with each other they often bark a lot which resonates through the whole house and is really annoying. I try to put them outside as soon as they start getting loud and boisterous, and they will stop playing immediately and sit at the door, barking to be let in. I have tried different techniques to stop the barking. Once they are calm I let them in and they go right back to wrestling and barking loudly.
Any ideas how I can teach them that playtime is ok outside but not inside?
