Recently I discovered my dog might have a food allergy and have decided the best thing for him (or at least I think) is to make my own dog food. I know what's going in and I can try different things and see what triggers him and what doesn't. I've been researching for two days now and have found a lot of stuff on homemade dog food, except the one thing I really want to know.
Do I have to supplement vitamins or anything if I'm giving him homemade dog food? It will be cooked, one protein, one vegetable, one carb (rice/barley/oats/millet). I already give him an Omega Blend by the 'All Natural' brand I think. I've heard you have to supplement a multi vitamin and calcium but I just want to be sure.
If anyone is able to tell me whether or not I need to supplement that would be great. Also if you have any tips for homemade dog food, or recipes I'd be appreciative of those too!
