    Good luck and hoping for the best.

    My mothers older dog currently has a soft tissue sarcoma which was located near her dogs elbow joint, she decided against amputation. Fortunately it is not particularly aggressive and her dog is in on an oral chemotherapy following surgery to remove as much of the cancerous tissue as was possible which seems to be holding it without any ill effects.

    Hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick. Glad at least you are closer to a correct diagnosis.
