With all due respect, do you have any real knowledge about the steps taken by the AmStaff owner to socialise his two dogs? Are you just assuming because this incident happened that the owner had nothing to socialise his dogs? I have spent a lot of time reading 'Fatal Dog Attacks' by Karen Delise and I have tried to understand the individual circumstances involved in individual dog attacks; I think that it is a bit too simplistic to state

This probably would not have happened if the owner of the 2 offending dogs had socialized them properly
Perhaps the dogs had not been fed for 3 days; perhaps the dominant dog of the pair had a brain tumour; perhaps, perhaps.
