I am not saying that rotting flesh is all than bad, I'm just saying that non rotting flesh is better on the whole.
I dunno. All the TV vets these days say if you wouldn't eat the food cos it's off, don't give it to your dog either.
I don't know why they say that, given that dogs evolved as rubbish dump scavangers. But I guess it depends on the natural selection. A semi-feral dog in the outback - is going to do better than a fifth generation farm dog or city dog that has only been fed dry dog food (over 5 generations) because the natural selection against dogs that can't cope with dodgy food - is gone.
I'm stuffed if I know why my dog has such a sensitive stomach but she does. Tho she still likes to forage for roast chicken bones in the back of the footy club car park. Nasty. Dogs don't often make the best call when it comes to their choice of food.
