Hoping you guys can help shed some light on our situation.
Hazel just reached 7 months old, generally she's a very good puppy, but the last 2 or 3 days she has been a little more destructive, which is very unlike her.
First of all it seems like she has totally forgot where she is meant to do her business when shes inside the house when we are at home, she would just poo and pee any where. Usually she have one designated area which is the laundry room where she would do her business if she have to do it inside the house. But the funny thing is if we are at work she manages to hold her business till we get home and let her out into the backyard.
Secondly in the last week or so she has been in a very chewy mood, she would chew and destroy some of her toys, and a few days ago we found that when we got home she has chew through some cables and today when we got home we found that she chewed one of the blinds. Am I right to assume she has started her second stage of adult teething?
Not too sure if the two issue above are related, but do dogs loose their toilet training skills when they are in the teething stage?
Any tips or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
